Dr. Denese is a licensed psychologist in New York, Massachusetts, and Texas with about 10 years of clinical experience.
She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University and served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Denese sees patients ages 2-40+. She specializes in helping 20 & 30 something adults cope with life challenges, anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, and parenting as well as supporting kids & teens ages 2-17 with selective mutism, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.
Most of Dr. Denese’s adult patients are high-achieving and work in demanding fields, such as corporate and medical fields. They are motivated to better understand their behaviors and seek therapy with Dr. Denese because they want to live happier, more fulfilled lives.
Given her background, Dr. Denese is especially passionate about providing therapy for South Asians, Asians (AAPI), BIPOC, or children of immigrants.
She recognizes the unique challenges that individuals with these identities face, including micro-aggressions, code-switching, and balancing heritage and assimilation.
